Who is the Weight Management Protocol for?
This protocol is designed for adults who want structured peptide support for body composition and fat metabolism — with clinical oversight from start to finish.
- Adults looking to reduce body fat and improve body composition
- People who have struggled with traditional weight loss approaches alone
- Those wanting weight management doctor oversight throughout their protocol
- Adults who prefer a non-stimulant, non-pharmaceutical approach where appropriate
- People committed to following a structured protocol with ongoing doctor review
Three steps to your protocol
From assessment to delivery — here's what the process looks like.
What to expect
Everyone responds differently to peptide therapy. Your weight management doctor will set realistic expectations during your consultation based on your individual health profile, goals, and starting point. Protocols are reviewed at 12 weeks to assess progress.
Doctor-prescribed. Australian.
Every weight management protocol through High Performance Human is reviewed and prescribed by a registered Australian weight management doctor. We operate within the TGA framework — no exceptions.
- Your protocol is reviewed by an Australian-registered weight management doctor before you spend a cent
- All peptides are dispensed by a licensed Australian compounding pharmacy
- Your weight management doctor remains available throughout your program for follow-up and adjustments
- Your health data is kept private and secure — no data sold or shared
Weight management protocol FAQs
These are the questions people most often ask before starting a weight management protocol. For more detail, see our frequently asked questions page, and remember that any clinical question can be raised directly with your weight management doctor during your consultation.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Any medication in a weight management protocol is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after a registered Australian weight management doctor has reviewed your assessment and confirmed it is appropriate for you. There is no way to purchase a protocol without a valid prescription, and not everyone who applies will be eligible. You can see how that process runs from start to finish on our how it works page.
How long before a review?
Your doctor will typically review your protocol at around the 12-week mark, with earlier check-ins where your circumstances call for it. This review is where your doctor assesses how you are responding, discusses any adjustments, and decides whether to continue. Because responses differ from person to person, the review is an important part of keeping the protocol appropriate for you over time.
What does it cost?
It's a single transparent $79 once-off consult fee covering your telehealth doctor appointment, with any prescribed medication billed separately at cost. We publish the full breakdown on our pricing page so you can review it before deciding to proceed.
What about off-label or compounded medication?
Some medications may be prescribed off-label or prepared by a compounding pharmacy. Before starting, every patient reviews our off-label and compounded medication consent information so you clearly understand what is involved. You can also learn more about our clinical approach and the doctors involved on our about page.
